New Dental Practice Provides State-of-the-Art Denistry

Research reveals that over ninety percent of systemic diseases have oral indicators, including issues such as gum problems, mouth ulcers, and dry mouth. Because many people take care to have regular dental examinations, dentists may be the first health care providers to identify health issues in their early stages. A new neighborhood source for family dentistry, Berwyn Dental Connection (www.berwyndentalconnection.com) just opened in Berwyn's Depot District at 3340 S Oak Park Ave, Ste 308. Dr. Olivia Lares, DDS celebrated the grand opening of her new practice in partnership with the City of Berwyn and the Berwyn Development Corporation (BDC) on October 1.
Dr. Olivia Lares provides high quality family dentistry for children of all ages through adults. Dr. Lares and her staff place an emphasis on creating a comfortable atmosphere through attentive and gentle dental care. Knowing that many people are intimidated by the tools used in dentistry, her staff goes to great lengths to explain each procedure and create an environment where expectations are set and executed compassionately. In addition to a welcoming staff, patients are greeted by a space that was thoughtfully decorated with light, soothing colors and serene photographs. For those with an aversion to the sounds of the dentist's office, she provides distractions like headphones for music and movies.
In order to build a trusting relationship, Dr. Lares' team provides a comprehensive menu of services in-house so that she can oversee each patient's overall oral health. The office offers general dentistry including preventative, cosmetic, restorative, endodontic, and orthodontic services. Dr. Lares also performs wisdom teeth removal and implants.
Dr. Lares' warm personality and philosophy of Tell-Show-Do practice are a great fit with children and persons with special needs. Her technical skill is matched by her warm approach, making her ideally suited to work with a continuum of patients from youth to seniors and with those who are new to dental procedures. While focused on prevention, the practice promotes overall oral health and wellness through bilingual patient education and state-of-the-art treatment and technology.
Dr. Lares graduated from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 2010. She completed her general practice residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago and continued to practice in the Chicagoland area. Dr. Lares longed to establish her own small, neighborhood practice where she could provide individual attention and educate her patients on clinical findings and treatment options. She purchased Dr. Anthony Guido's dental practice in July and has been reaching out to patients old and new, adding her personal touch to the business.
Dr. Olivia Lares remarked, "I'm excited to be in Berwyn, which is a very family-oriented community. We have a practice that focuses on the entire family so this is the perfect fit for us. I'm also proud to connect with new patients by providing bilingual dental care."
Mayor Robert J. Lovero commented, "The Depot District has welcomed quite a few new businesses that focus on our community's health. With your base of patients from the former dentist, I think your practice will be very successful. Welcome to Berwyn." Mal Montoya, BDC Board President, continued, "Berwyn Dental Connection offers a unique niche in that it has the technology of a corporate dental office but with a more personalized touch."
