Gundersen to combine eye, dental services in PdC in one clinic

Gundersen Health System and city officials will announce plans today for a new clinic that will bring Gundersen’s dental and eye services under one roof.
A kick-off ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. today at the construction site of the new clinic at 118 Marquette Road, also known as Hwy. 35.
In addition to consolidating the La Crosse-based health system’s dental and eye clinics from their facilities totaling 5,700 square feet, the new, 8,000-square-foot clinic will:
  • Provide space for expanded dental specialty services, initially with oral surgery.
  • Feature state-of-the-art dental radiology and ophthalmic equipment.
  • Include more vision exam rooms and designated rooms for specialized eye testing.
  • Offer off-street parking with about 40 spaces.
“With more space, added services, new equipment and more convenient parking, we look forward to providing Prairie du Chien residents great care in one convenient stop,” said Dr. Scott Rathgaber, Gundersen’s CEO.
“We’ll be able to care for more patients by bringing our specialty dental services to the Prairie du Chien community,” said Darla Zahn, clinical manager of Gundersen Dental Specialties.
