SmileMobile providing dental care in Long Beach

The Washington Dental Service Foundation SmileMobile is in Long Beach through this Friday, Oct. 30.
The SmileMobile travels the state offering dental services to children who might not otherwise have access to dental care. The SmileMobile, a brightly painted 38-foot dental clinic on wheels, is hard to miss when it rolls into town.
Children birth through high school with limited access to dental care can be scheduled by calling Washington Dental Service Foundation at 1-888-286-9105.
The SmileMobile is staffed by a clinic manager, dentist and dental assistant. It is parked at Long Beach Head Start, 2611 Pacific Ave. North. The SmileMobile will provide treatment appointments for the rest of the week, after doing examinations Monday and Tuesday.
Medicaid (Apple Health) and sliding scale fees are accepted as reimbursement for services.
The SmileMobile is operated by Washington Dental Service Foundation, a non-profit organization created and partially funded by Delta Dental of Washington in partnership with Seattle Children’s Hospital.

In other dental news: Aurident's 3D dental scanners offer superior quality for both model and impression scanning. The Optimet DS 6000 Scanner uses patented proprietary conoscopic holographic technology to generate highly accurate and consistent scans. The DSi 6000 Impression & Model Scanner overcomes the limitation of other scanners by accurately scanning impressions and models where other scanners have difficulty.
