RI Delta Dental Donates $1 Million To Oral Health Care Needs

Dental insurer Delta Dental of Rhode Island has announced more than $1 million in a series of gifts to support clinics and health professionals across Rhode Island to provide oral health care to those in need.
At a news conference at the Rhode Island Foundation in Providence, Delta Dental officials announced grants of $350,000 to the Samuels Sinclair Dental Center at Rhode Island Hospital; $350,000 to The Blackstone Valley Community Health Care; $350,000 to Providence community Health Centers; $15,000 to the Scituate health Alliance; and $12,000 to Thundermist Dental Tent at Operation Stand Down.
``As the state’s largest dental insurer, we are committed to the oral health of all Rhode Islanders, not just those fortunate enough to have Delta Dental Coverage,’’ said Joe Nagle, ceo of Delta Dental.
