Dr. Patricia Takacs, who operates three comprehensive family dental offices in Lexington, recently unveiled a new website with state-of-the-art features, videos and easy scheduling options.
Dr. Takacs launched the new website, www.beaumontfamilydentistry.com, after partnering with SmartBox Web Marketing, a company that specializes in building websites for dentists and directing web marketing campaigns. Dr. Takacs said her goal for the new website was to create a one-stop location for patients to learn about their oral health -- which mirrors the culture of her own practice, Beaumont Family Dentistry. "The biggest benefit of the new website for patients is the convenience of being able to view our services and then schedule dental visits -- all from their computer, tablet or mobile device," Dr. Takacs said. "Our offices work diligently to improve the patient experience, and now our website has become a major part of that."
Beaumont Family Dentistry's new website includes videos from Dr. Takacs, staff and dedicated patients; a smile gallery of dental creations; detailed information about practice services; and online appointment forms.
Site visitors can also view monthly blogs written by Dr. Takacs about Beaumont Family Dentistry services or sign up for a free eBook written by Dr. Takacs about dental implants and sedation dentistry. The eBook provides patients with solutions to their missing teeth and shares the health risks patients face when they skip dental visits or do not replace missing teeth.

Dr. Takacs credits her grandfather, who was a dentist, for influencing her career path. She attended West Virginia University and was accepted into dental school after her junior year. She went on to graduate from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry with high honors in 1983. Before attending dental school, she worked in a dental office in Vienna and Williamstown, WV.
