East Aurora dental practice expands to Northtowns

An East Aurora dental practice is expanding into the Northtowns with a second office.
Westermeier Martin Dental Care will open the new location in early 2016 in leased space at 3500 Sheridan Drive in Amherst owned by Buffalo Rheumatology, which converted the former Fanny’s restaurant site five years ago into a 12,000-square-foot medical research and treatment center.
The existing practice site in East Aurora serves patients throughout the Buffalo region, including patients from Orchard Park and Hamburg as well as from Northtowns suburbs like Amherst, Williamsville and Clarence. Patients also travel from Canada for services, which prompted the second location further north.
“People have been asking us when we will open another office a little closer for those who live in the Northtowns,” said Dr. Scott Westermeier, who runs the practice with Dr. Jeffrey Martin.
Westermeier Martin is a full-service dental practice, offering preventive and restorative care as well as sedation dentistry, dental implants, adult orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry.
The practice boasts a spa-like experience, offering patients neck pillows, iPads and headphones during treatment, as well as aromatherapy towels, hand and foot massages.
