For the fourth year, a Flint dentist will offer free dental care to area residents to celebrate Thanksgiving weekend.
Gateway Dental will offer free cleanings, fillings and extractions on Saturday, Nov. 28 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sunday, Nov. 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Gateway is led by Dr. Bobby Grossi, a Flint native.
"I believe in giving back, in being a positive force in my community. I don't just want to give people better smiles, I want to give them a reason to smile," Grossi said in a statement. "My staff and I look forward to this event all year and are more than happy to give back to those who have given us so much."
The event has attracted as many as 100 people in previous years.
