Oral Care on the Go: The Delta Dental Mobile App

We live in a mobile society where information is literally at our fingertips. In fact, more people access information on their mobile phones than on their desktop computers. That's why we created the Delta Dental Mobile App. It's an easy way to access your benefit information and other great features from our website, wherever and whenever you want them.

Search for a Dentist

You might be away from home with a dental emergency. Or maybe you want to find a new dentist, or get in touch with a specialist. With the Mobile App, it's as easy as a few touches of a button to find the information you need.

• Click the Find a Dentist button on the main menu.
• Select your Plan (if you're not logged in).
• Search by specialty, geographic location or name of dentist. You can even refine your search by gender, language spoken, accessibility, etc.

The Mobile App allows you to save the dentist to your list of contacts or to navigate directly to their offices. You also can use your device's GPS feature to find a dentist closeby. The Search for a Dentist feature is available to everyone. You don't have to log in as a Delta Dental member to use it. But when you're logged in, the tool will default to your plan network to make searches even simpler.

View Coverage and Claims

Maybe you're wondering how close you are to your annual maximum or if a certain procedure is covered under your plan. No problem! Simply log in as a Delta Dental member to find out.

• Click My Coverage on the main menu.
• Within the Coverage section, you can view your plan type, benefit levels, and details on your deductibles and maximums.
• In the Claims section you can check on the status of your most recent dental claim, as well as view details of that visit.
• You can also view benefits information for any dependents on your policy.

Dental Cost Estimator (NEW)

If you are considering certain dental procedures, you can find out their estimated cost via the Mobile App. Our new Cost Estimator provides estimated submitted price ranges for common dental care needs for dentists in your area. See what dentists on average may charge for procedures rendered both in and out of network. (Note that this feature is not available in all geographic areas.)

View Mobile ID Card

Now you don't have to dig through your purse or wallet to find your ID card. Once you log into the App, you will see your ID card, which you can save to the home screen of the App or email to yourself or your dependents.

Brush with the Toothbrush Timer

The Toothbrush Timer is a great way to make sure you're brushing long enough. It's accessible without logging in, and you don't have to be a Delta Dental member to use it.

• Click the Toothbrush Timer button on the menu.
• Click Brush to start the timer. The timer will count and music will play.
• Click Pause to stop while brushing.
• At the end of two minutes, the timer will stop. Press Reset to start over.

Securely Access Your Benefits 

You must enter your username and password each time you access the secure portion of the App. No personal information is stored on your device. For more information about security, view our Privacy Policy located on the login page of the App (click on the image of the lock at the top left of the screen).
