PARSIPPANY: The American Heart Association has announced that Sandra Clarke, vice president of finance and chief financial officer at Daiichi Sankyo, will serve as chairman of the American Heart Association’s 2015 Morris County Heart Walk & 5K Run scheduled for Oct. 4, at the Mack-Cali Business Campus in Parsippany.
Activities will begin at 8 a.m. and the run is scheduled to start at 9:15 a.m. with the walk beginning shortly after, according to a press release from organizers.
The Heart Walk, sponsored nationally by Subway, is the American Heart Association’s flagship fundraiser held in more than 450 communities nationwide. As chairman of the Morris County Heart Walk & Run, Clarke will lead Morris County companies, employees, residents and families toward a healthier future.
In addition she will manage a volunteer executive leadership team to recruit more than 3,000 walkers and raise over $500,000 to support American Heart Association research and education programs.
